Macross Frontier #18

I was just watching my friend play Crysis on his super-good computer, but now I gotta do homework…
Anyways, we got some Macross Frontier goodness. One thing you’ll notice is that we dropped Gekkostate from the joint. They weren’t doing much for a while…

politics politics politics…
finally?
anyway, in the batch, are you guys going to rename the previous episodes so it does not include gekkostate?
@suiton
Why would they do that?
Gekkostate worked on the previous eps so it’d be stupid/wrong to take their names off them.
Why would they do that?
a. It is a batch so most likely they would go back and correct things (official naming, typos, editing mistakes, etc)
b. If “a” is the case, then that editing work would consist of AonE work.
c. “If ‘b” is the case, then AonE would have completed the batch.
Common etiquette, fansubbing or otherwise, says that if an entity worked on it, that entity should be mentioned for working on it. Anything less is plagiarism — taking someone else’s work as your own without attribution.
Also, what fansub group is going to go and redo the previous work just to make a political point? And would that be a good use of their time? You can only get so much work out of a team in any given week, and if you’re constantly revisiting the past you’re not going to be able to move forward. A batch is just a roll-up of earlier work to make it easier to get, but it’s not going to be re-engineered, just re-packaged.
M comes after G so it’ll still display in the correct order (AonE-Gekkostate -> AonE-Menclave.
Though I abbreviated the tags to [AGM] and now [AM] anyway. Still works.
