Double Delight – Michiko to Hatchin 01 & Yozakura Quartet 02

Hey guys,

Since lambchopsil is sleeping, I’m here to make tonight’s release announcement. Here’s a cookie to those who were disappointed by our dropping Shikabane (I know, we hated to do it too).

Yozakura Quartet Ep 02 finishes adding Rin to the main troupe. Can’t wait to see what adventures she’s up to and what troubles she’ll cause.

The other release is the first episode of our new show. Michiko to Hatchin is about a strange combination of two individuals who are on the escape from something. Brought to you by the same ppl who worked on shows like Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo. Exciting stuff. The subs are done by a joint between AnimeONE and our friends in Animanda.

    Congrats on your Mitchiko release! Just one thing: at 3:48, there’s a sign reading ‘Berembowser Yamada’ but you chose to translate it as ‘Belenbauza’ in the script. Other than this, an excellent and solid release!!!

    Hi, that’s what our Portuguese TL decided on. Berembowser probably isn’t a real name.

    Good to know there will be an SD. All the other groups are only releasing in high-res H264 and I got a shitty old computer.

    Aaargh my two favourite fansub groups are doing mitchiko and now I”M IN A DILEMNA. Hahahaha. I’m so happy you’re sub these two!!! thank you for your hard work!!!

    Yoza- probably not WS. It takes a while for those raws to air, and acquiring them in a .ts format is difficult, so the quality most likely will be worse that the raws we’ve used. Also, it uses valuable resources redoing things to match the new resolution. I’m sure you’d like us to use those resources on the latest episodes heh.

    <– That and later on in the same episode the actually episode uses Belenbauza for two of their signs too (around 18:00 -20:00 ish). Blame the animators for being indecisive!

    Seconding hmmm’s comment, could it be that the “other show you might be working on” is Mouryou no Hakou? It’s such a good show and deserves a good sub!
