You are right it is player/codec/display setting’s problem. I tried it on my laptop and it play fine.

Maybe it is just me but the HQ version seem to be cropped wrongly because the sub is cut out at some point.

I didn’t bother to watch the Original Galaxy Express 999. I started from Galaxy Railways 2003 Remake and then continue with this release.

Thank You for still releasing Galaxy Railways II One of my Favourite releases… It’s hard to find animes like that nowadays~ Keep em coming
