New Project

Hmm…Ok, we have a new project. It’s looking pretty cool, too. The title of this new project is Devil May Cry. You can get the torrent for the first ep here. It was a joint effort with Conclave (also note that the torrent is on their tracker).
Now, some of you may be wondering why we are starting yet ANOTHER project when we still have so many other ones to finish. It’s just that different people work on different projects and it just so happens that certain people are less able to work right now and so THOSE projects get delayed slightly. Don’t worry, we’ll finish everything in due time…
Edit:
The higher quality version of the episode is now out!
1080p 5.1 version is forthcoming, I hope?

Now only if Naruto Shippuuden was done by AonE.
=(
Stop talking about Shippuuden already! It ain’t gonna happen.
Thank you so much for picking this up. HD version would be awesome to the extreme.
suiton, if you are boycotting Dattebayo\’s version of NARUTO Shippuuden (like I sure as hell am), just get SD\’s version. Their subtitles look like AnimeONE\’s, and their translations are pretty close to AnimeONE\’s also. And, they are pretty much as slow as AonE was with the original NARUTO, so everything matches perfectly. š

suiton, consider this your final warning. Quit bitching about shippuden.
YES YES I was hoping AonE would pick this up (DMC) after finishing naruto =(. THANKS AonE
what? This is a HD anime?
Yes, DMC is being aired in 1080p over in Japan.
AonE….720p version? Why? ;_; Why not 1080p?! ;_;
Meh, thanks anyways. ^_^

Ah nice! I was wondering when they were starting to make HD animes! (shows, not movies)
Who’s got the resources to play back 1080p?
Seriously, my computer chokes on 720p in high-motion. 1080 … how many people seriously have displays that big?
What is a HD anime? O-O
HD anime is anime that’s animated and aired in high definition.
Standard TV is aired in 640×480 resolution, at 24-30fps, interlaced.
High definition is aired in 720p (1280×720, 24-60fps, non-interlaced), 1080i or 1080p (1920×1080, 24-60fps, interlaced or progressive respectively).
For comparison, a 1080p signal is just over 2 million pixels per frame. 720p is just under 1 megapixel, and standard definition is about 0.3 megapixels. Being substantially more information, it’s a lot more processor-intensive to display 720p and 1080i/1080p videos. My P4 2.4 chokes on high motion scenes with 720p.
OMG! AonE? HD? *downloads, even though i have no idea what this show is about*
Yeah, nobody really needs 1080p just yet. Maybe in a few years, but for now, there isn’t much necessary demand for it. If you want really want to sample something in 1080p, KAA did ‘Ghost In The Shell: Innocence’ in full 1080p. I’m on an extreme powerhouse of a computer, and can barely play it with all of the fastest decoders and with most always-running programs closed. Not to mention my monitor only goes 1280 wide, so it gets downscaled anyway š
Thanks complich8 š
